The IO-5 is a quintet formation led by bassist, arranger, composer Iris Ornig, The IO-5 captivated listeners around the world with its unique sound. Iris combines European tradition with the expanded chord structures of modern jazz, blues inflections, improvised ‘riffs' and call and response. The result is hybrid & fascinating, with plenty surprises!
