The show marks Tyrell's 12th anniversary in the revered holiday spot, having taken over for Bobby Short in 2005
Café Carlyle is pleased to welcome back GRAMMY® Award-winner and two-time Emmy® nominee Steve Tyrell for a five-week engagement, December 2-December 31. Home For The Holidays: A Café Carlyle Tradition will feature holiday favorites as well as various selections from the Great American Songbook. Of last year's residency, The New York Times declared, "Mr. Tyrell is a terrific storyteller." This will be Tyrell's twelfth year performing in the revered holiday season slot, after taking over for the legendary Bobby Short in 2005. Steve Tyrell has performed on stages all over the world, and has played for several Heads of State including Presidents Bush and Clinton, the Prince of Wales at Buckingham Palace, President Santos of Columbia, Prime Minister Netanyahu, and Archbishop Desmond Tutu.
Performances will take place Tuesday - Friday at 8:45pm; Friday and Saturday at 8:45pm & 10:45pm. Reservations made by phone at 212.744.1600 are $135 ($185 for premium seating, $90 for bar seating) Tuesday - Thursday; $160 ($210 for premium seating, $100 for bar seating) on Friday and Saturday (early and late shows).
