Vocalist Laurin Talese To Continue Her Series Of Spring Performances With Appearance At Art Of Cool Festival

Vocalist Laurin Talese is set to perform at this year's Art of Cool Festival in Durham, NC, this coming Saturday, April 29th; She will be singing at the Beyu Caffe with pianist Toru Dodo. This marks the vocalist's first performance at the Festival, which will showcase several notable artists including Dr. Lonnie Smith, Christian Scott, Marquis Hill, Braxton Cook, The Revive Big Band, and many more.

Following her appearance at AOC, Talese will begin preparing for her concert at the Soiled Dove Underground in Denver, CO on May 12th, leading up to her first show several weeks later at BLU Jazz+ in Akron, OH on June 3rd.

Earlier this spring, Talese held concerts in New York, Atlanta and Pennsylvania, having most recently participated in Philadelphia's "Philly Celebrates Jazz" with pianist Eric Worthan III. In March, she was selected to join The ASCAP Foundation's showcase, "Songwriters: The Next Generation" held at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC.
