LET'S ORDER IN - AN EVENING WITH MICHELE BROURMAN
With Special Guest Billy Stritch

Celebrating the release of Brourman's new CD, "The Price of Love"

When: September 15th - 7pm show (food/cocktail service one hour before show time)
Where: Pangea, 178 2nd Avenue, New York, NY 10003

Love, lust, takeout and everything in between! Singer/Songwriter Michele Brourman celebrates the launch of her brand-new CD "The Price of Love" with an evening of original songs at Pangea, New York's Downtown Alternative Supper-Club. The show, LET'S ORDER IN, direct from a successful engagement in London's premier cabaret The Pheasantry, is a mix of familiar tunes and new gems from the album.

Michele's songs have been performed by numerous luminaries across the globe, from Margaret Whiting to Reba McIntyre, but nothing compares to hearing them sung by the composer herself! Her wit, charm and complete engagement grab an audience by the heart and take them along on an unforgettable ride.

She will be joined for a special guest appearance by the award-winning composer, pianist and
vocalist Billy Stritch.

To compliment the album, Michele and co-producer Stephan Oberhoff have released a video of the title song which is a heartfelt tribute to the relationship between animal lovers and their special four-footed friends: The Price Of Love video

Her best-loved song, "My Favorite Year", has been recorded by Michael Feinstein, Dame Cleo Laine, Margaret Whiting, Billy Stritch, and frequent collaborator Amanda McBroom. She's written and produced the songs for 18 animated features for Universal Studios, including the beloved "Land Before Time" series, writing for Reba McIntyre, Donnie Osmond, Olivia Newton-John and more. Brourman's work has been featured in television and film and performed by countless cabaret artists, garnering numerous awards and critical acclaim. Her work for the theater includes the scores for the musicals "Dangerous Beauty" and "The Belle of Tombstone".

About Billy Stritch
Billy Stritch is one of the premier singer-pianists on the New York and national jazz and cabaret scenes. He began his career in Houston, Texas, where he formed the vocal trio Montgomery, Plant and Stritch. The trio performed all over New York and Europe from 1983 until they disbanded in 1990. A chance meeting with Liza Minnelli in March of 1991 resulted in her asking him to create vocal arrangements for the record-breaking extravaganza Liza Stepping Out at Radio City Music Hall. In addition to his 25-year collaboration with Liza, Billy recently toured with the legendary Tony Bennett as his pianist and musical director. A solo entertainer in his own right, he has performed his own shows (including tributes to Mel Tormé and Cy Coleman) in concert halls and nightclubs across the country. Billy also serves as music director for such leading vocalists as Linda Lavin, Christine Ebersole, Paulo Szot and Marilyn Maye. He is also the co-writer of the Grammy-winning song "Does He Love You" recorded by Reba McEntire and Linda Davis. When he's not on the road, he is the pianist for Jim Caruso's Cast Party open mic night every Monday at New York's legendary Birdland Jazz Club and he and Jim hold forth on Sunday nights at Bemelmans' Bar in Manhattan's fabled Carlyle Hotel.
