Kelvin Andreas' drumming skills create 'Vivid Imagery' on new album
(Published: May 25, 2019)

Kelvin Andreas is a rather outstanding musician and composer. He is most notable for his next-level drumming skills, particularly the way he can seamlessly bring different dynamics to his performances.

From quiet to loud, tight to loose, anything goes. Andreas allows his melodic sense to really work for the songs, making for a cohesive and inspiring listening experience.

His most recent studio release, Vivid Imagery, actually features seven studio tracks which blur the lines between a wider range of influences. The stunning opening number, "Manchester by the Sea," is all about highlighting Andreas' rhythmic mastery, while on songs such as "Purple Sky," the artist allows the melodic elements to stand out to the forefront of the mix. This is a really diverse collection of tunes, each exploring a different direction.
