Guitarists Charlie Rauh and Cameron Mizell collaborate with vocalist Ess See on spectacular single
(Published: June 20, 2019)

Charlie Rauh is a visionary jazz artist and composer, with next-level guitar skills and a sharp ear for innovative composition. Recently, Rauh teamed up with two other talented artists, guitarist Cameron Mizell and vocalist Ess See in order to bring a new project to life, a single named "A Thousand Faces." The track is a melange of each artist's influences, from Rauh's Appalachian inspirations to See's unyielding affection for folk to Mizell's background in improvisational jazz.

The sound of this cut is accomplished and diverse. I love the fact that each and every musician involved in this project actually set out to bring something unique to the table, making for a fun and forward-thinking feel. The production has a driven, organic sound, which suits the essence of this track. In addition to that, Rauh and Mizell managed to embellish the performance with some of their finest guitar work. It's incredible to see how everything falls into place here with a production that excels under multiple fronts. From the beauty of the recordings down to the sheer potential of the arrangement which inspires, grips, and moves the audience to a whole new level.

This is a masterwork of an effort from the Austin, Texas-based independent label Destiny Records. It serves as a knockout preview to their upcoming full-length album What We Have In Common, which will be released in July.
